Orientation

At COLT believe… that anyone coming to work in Africa as a volunteer for any length of time should be properly orientated. This will enable all our volunteers to make the most of their African experience through a deeper understanding of the environment and cultures in which they will be working.

The P a t h f i n d e r s ‘Customs, Culture and Bush Awareness’ itinerary will be oriented around preparing travellers to Africa for the onset of the customs and culture of this land. It will introduce you to the flavours and tastes of her food, create awareness towards the sites and sounds of her bush... and instruct you on how to survive, to adapt, to fully understand and appreciate the temperament of this tremendous continent.

Whilst our P a t h f i n d e r s courses are optional, it is highly recommended that you partake in one as a foundation for the rest of your time spent in the bush and on this expedition.
