Livingston - Medical

Volunteering in Livingstone’s Maramba clinic and working with AIDS orphans in the LISCA orphanage. The programme is specifically structured to give you a deeper insight into African communities and medical fields, with the opportunity to make a positive impact
‘Mosi-oa-tunya’ - The Smoke That Thunders… this is how the locals refer to the magnificent spray that is elevated above the Victoria Falls. Against this backdrop we find the town of Livingstone, Zambia’s tourist mecca and the “adventure capital of Africa”. Your placement begins with our 4-day orientation programme (included in your fee) and then the opportunity to immerse yourselves in the local community to make a positive impact on this corner of Zambia.
